RecordMax is a public document record system that allows
the user to search for public documents via the Internet. The types
of documents that are detailed in this system are official publicly
recorded documents that are usually kept by the Registrar of Deeds
or the local Recorder's Office. Such public documents can include:
- Birth Certificates
- Cemetery Deeds
- Deeds of Trust
- General Recordings
- Land Corner Recordings
- Miscellaneous Index
- Mortgage Index
- Plat Book
- Survey Recordings
- Tax Liens
The user of the system has the ability to search for recorded documents
by:
- Name
- Book/Page
- File Number
- Platted
- Unplatted
- Government Lot
- Parcel ID Number
- Address
- Index
There is also an Advance Search option available that allows the
user to conduct searches by
- Party Side (Both, 1, 2)
- Index Type
- Recording Date Range
The user can also specify the list format.
- Count of Names
- Brief recording description
- Detail recording description
Once a recording is selected the user has access to the Tabs and
information outlined below:
Name Tab
Mortgagor/Mortgagee or Grantor/Grantee, title of the parties, and
addresses.
Description Tab
Legal description of the recorded document.
References Tab
Book and File number reference.
Corrections Tab
Document correction information if available.
Image Tab
Electronic image of the official recorded document, which can be
printed by the user
General Tab
Consideration and fees paid, as well as property and mailing addresses.
Additional Information Tab
User defined tab reserved for additional information on the recorded
document.
